Applications are typically made through each university's own portal or through Uni-Assist, which is a centralized service used by many German universities. Required documents usually include your academic transcripts, a CV or resume, and letters of recommendation. Deadlines vary, but most programs accept students for the winter semester with its beginning in October in July-August, and for the summer semester that begins in March in January-February.
