How does admission take place for B.Tech biotechnology without JEE Mains(as PCB group students can't appear for JEE)?

The admission for Biotechnology are solely based on JEE mains ranking. While you will do counseling there you would have the option for filling biotechnology as a branch in various institute. Hope it helps.

Admission for B.Tech/BE programme in BIT - (i) Indian students - Based on AIR in JEE-Main through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) / JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). (ii) NRI/PIO/ SFFS Based on marks obtained by the candidates in Class 12th / equivalent qualifying examination.

Hello, As far as my knowledge goes, to get admission in BE Biotechnology, you need to appear for JEE Mains. If you are a PCB student, you might get admission here in B.Pharma without appearing for JEE Mains. Thanks, I hope it helps.

There is no separate examination of any sort for the admission in BE/B.Tech Biotechnology except JEE mains. If you seek admission in this field, you need to crack JEE Mains to be eligible. Admission in our college take place through JEE Mains only for B.E course so it is the only way to get into it. Some seats are there for NRI candidates too so you can apply for the same if you fall in such category even after you havn't given JEE Mains.
