Honestly, the placement process at GIBS is pretty smooth and student-friendly.
Every year, the placement season starts with the college preparing us properly before companies even come in. First we have training sessions, aptitude classes, mock interviews, GD practice — all the basic stuff that actually helps a lot.

Then once the drives start, it usually goes step by step like this:

    • Company briefing – They come and tell us about the role, package, work culture, everything.

    • Aptitude or online test – Some companies take a basic test.

    • Group Discussion (GD) – Depends on the company, but many do it.

    • Personal Interview – HR + Technical/M

    Hi.

The GIBS campus placement process is a structured, multi-stage approach managed by the placement cell to bridge the gap between students and the industry. The process for students typically involves the following steps during the placement season:

    1. Placement Training & Preparation: Before the formal placement season begins, the GIBS placement cell and the "Finishing School" conduct extensive training sessions. Students undergo preparation for aptitude tests, resume building, soft skills development, mock interviews, and group discussions to become "industry-ready".

At GIBS, honestly most of the companies that come for placements are MNCs — easily around 70–80%. That's something I personally like because you get exposure to big brands and proper corporate culture.

Some of the common names we keep hearing on campus are like IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, Byju's, Wipro, Amazon, HDFC Bank, Wells Fargo, and many more.

So yeah, the placement scene at GIBS is pretty solid, and the mix of MNCs gives students a lot of options to explore.

Hi.

Internships at the Global Institute of Business Studies (GIBS) often lead to pre-placement offers (PPOs), with official sources indicating that a good number of students secure such offers.
While an exact percentage is not publicly specified in the provided data, the institution's emphasis on practical exposure through mandatory internships and a dedicated "Finishing School" programme is designed to facilitate this transition.
Key points highlighting the extent to which this occurs:
  • Emphasis on Internship-to-Placement Pipeline: GIBS highlights the "Internship-to-Placement Pipeline" as a key feature, noting that many students

Hi.

The typical evaluation process includes the following stages:
  • Resume Shortlisting: Companies first review student resumes, which are prepared with assistance from the placement cell, to shortlist candidates based on academic performance, specializations, and relevant internships or work experience.

GIBS actually makes it pretty simple for international students. They don't complicate things — the admission team guides you throughout. You just need your basic academic documents, passport copy, and if needed, an English proficiency proof. The GIBS team helps with the application, video interview, and even supports you with offer letters for visa purposes.

Overall, they're quite friendly and helpful, so if you're an international student, you won't feel lost. They make sure you settle in smoothly and understand every step clearly.
