The green house gases like CO2 absorbs the IR radiation that heats up the earth's surface and atmosphere and hence result in global warming.

It is a type of a pollution of UV rays, which increases the temperature of earth and constantly increasing of Carbon di oxide in air. It resulted in the warming of the earth. It is called global warming.
