How does it feel to be a student at Lovely Professional University, LPU?

I have not studied at LPU but being an educational consultant I used to collect feedback from students of different universities. I met few students of the LPU as well and will share their review as a student at LPU with you. Placements: The placements at Lovely Professional University are excellent. It is an honest remark. Trust me, if you are willing to get placed, this university will not let you down. The packages are very good, and almost all the students of my immediate senior batch got placed in good companies with good packages. PEP classes or placement enhancement preparatory classes are organized each year for the placement-eligible students in which they prepare them thoroughly according to the companies needs and industrial demands. Big companies like Amazon,Bosch, Cognizant do come here and recruit the students. Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Lovely Professional University is one of the best in India. A 600+ acre campus widely spread with almost every facility available on the campus. Starting from Wi-Fi services, they aim to provide internet connectivity to everyone on the campus. The attractive thing about this university is the UMS or University Managemen Services,an online portal for both the faculty members and students wherein the students can check their attendance, marks or address their problems, while the faculty members can take attendance, upload study material and there are host lot of services given by UMS. The labs are well-equipped with the latest systems in place installed with up-to-date software, guided and monitored by the IT cell. The central library is equipped with ample books for running courses as well as for extra studies. Uni Hospital caters to the medical needs of the university people with inbuilt pathological labs and physiotherapy services. A humongous ground located near the hostels ensures that each and everyone gets to access the sports and games which they want to play. The cricket, football and hockey fields can be cited along with the volleyball, basketball, tennis courts, etc. The Division of Student Affairs ensures the cultural environment is maintained here. Faculty: Most of the faculty members here are from IIT, IIIT, or NIT. They carry with themselves the vast knowledge they have gathered and pass onto the students here, keeping in mind the present need of the courses that are being taught. All classes are smart classes with projectors for a better explanation. I hope this helps Thank You!!

Hello, Being a part of Lovely Professional University for two years, I can share my experience with LPU. It feels great to be a part of this big University. People recognize it due to its name and the opportunities that it provides to the students. This university is highly recognised by everyone and with a great reputation. Life at LPU is very happening. The first reason is that there is a lot of cultural diversity. You can find students from all parts and backgrounds of India. Other than that, there are students from many foreign countries as well who come to study at LPU. Before we move to any other aspects, let us discuss the most important thing first studies. The academic life at LPU is busy. You have classes for 7 to 8 hours a day, which include practical learning as well as classroom learning. The case study method is also used, and exposure to the industry is provided. There are workshops and guest lectures organised from time to time, which make studying fun. The campus has a big library that has all the books and magazines you could possibly want. The evening time is a very happening time on the campus. All the students have attended their classes and are out for eating or chilling with friends. Coming to the non-academic life, the university organises events and competitions from time to time that keeps you busy. They also help you learn and explore. The time of the cultural fest Youth Vibe is the most enjoyable time in the university. There are also other cultural fests One World and One India. Coming to campus life, I stayed at the university hostel and had a marvellous time there. The campus of Lovely Professional University is great! There is everything you could possibly need on the campus itself. There are banks, salons, shopping mall, ATMs, etc. There are facilities to play sports like cricket, basketball and fun games like bowling, skating, snooker, etc. Coming to food, well, it could be a bit disappointing for non-vegetarians as LPU is a vegetarian campus. But there's a huge variety of vegetarian food. From North Indian to African to Chinese to Italian, all kinds of cuisines are available on the campus. The mess food is also decent. If you want to avoid junk food, mess food will keep you full and healthy. The best part is that apart from all this, LPU also puts a lot of its focus on the placement of the students, be it for any course. There are training classes held for 3rd and 4th-year students that helps them prepare for the placement drive. They help the students strengthen their reasoning, analytical, aptitude, and communication skills. Hundreds of regional, national, and multi-national come and hire students with good packages. The university helps you improve your personality in 3 or 4 years of your course. I will highly recommend LPU to anyone who.

I was pretty sure to go for my higher studies in a very good university and then I came across LPU. The single-campus university located in Jalandhar, Punjab. Initially I was stunned by the beautiful campus and infrastructure and gradually I made my mind when I got to know about the university achievements and popularity. I took my admission in MBA and trust me the Business school in LPU is undoubtedly the best. I always felt that the faculty members were very much concerned to shape us and make us ready to compete in the upcoming placement drives in the next two years. They have good faculty and good infrastructure. They provide very good study ambiance and are very up to date with the latest developments. Overall culture in the university seems to be good. Hostel: LPUs hostels have a good accommodation where you'll get a room with an attached bathroom. They have a large collection of rooms for 2 seater, LPU has the wide range of AC and Non AC rooms. Rooms are good to stay. I was also a Hostler at LPU and the thing I miss the most is the Hostel Life of LPU, those late night studies, looking for snacks at midnight and watching movies on the weekends was very awesome I wish I could live back those days. The schedule followed in messes are structured in a well-mannered form where your morning breakfast might be choices between various type of Paranthas and poha with or without butter, in the beverage you will get milk and tea. Where for lunch you'll get some seasonal vegetables, potatoes, and pulses. And for an evening you'll get milk and tea. In a dinner, you'll get seasonal vegetables, pulses etc. Once a week you will get a special diet where you'll get some Chinese food or Indian special occasional food. Academic: All the faculty members are highly qualified to have at least Masters and 7080% of them are even having PhDs or pursuing. These facilities are also having good years of work experience, so it might be good to consider that LPU is having the wide range of qualified and experienced faculty members. Placement: The placements are completely based on the performance of the students, because so many good companies come to campus drive in the college. The current placement status that many students got placed in the genuine companies before final exams in reputed companies on good packages. The college also looks for skill development for the student by providing summer training and internship in the final year.

It feels very good to be studying at LPU. LPU is one of the best private colleges in India for almost all the 200+ programmes it offers. The infrastructure at LPU is one of the biggest and best in the world. They have all the facilities a student can think of from the best in class sports facilities to placements. About the placement, it is very good here with over 600 companies coming to the campus for placements. The placement drive at LPU is quite impressive. Not just impressive, but it is also a very successful placement drive as the majority of the students sitting in the placement drive are placed. The academics at LPU is also quite strong. The faculty members are very knowledgeable as well besides their caring and helpful nature. They know in very deep about the subject they teach. The curriculum at LPU is also very well designed, making every student a near-professional even before the placements.

If I would express my feeling to answer this question then I must say "Proud" I feel very proud to be such a good university. The campus of this university is I think the best spot I ever lived apart from my home. It's 2 years till now after being a part of LPU and every day at LPU of my college life is memorable, because of the companions, beautiful campus, staff, teachers, and facilities. I am trying here to write a brief answer according to my experience so far, I am staying in the LPU hostel for the last 2 years, and trust me these are the best days of my life. I have some amazing friends with them I have memorable experiences too. My experience at LPU has been fantastic because of the diverse environment and the nice weather all day in a year. LPU provides us, students, a huge platform to groom your personality. All you need to do is simply participate in different programs/ events organized by the Division of student affairs (DSA). I want to suggest you join any department to have holistic growth of your personality. Attend Technical Events: LPU has got a lot of student organizations and faculty interest group who organizes various activities including technical one, try to be part of those as well as it will make your learning more relevant. You can also join some classes such as language classes like French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Punjabi etc. , I also learning french from next semester. There are heaps of events/occasions is arranges at LPU, don't miss the chance to refresh yourself by attending these great fun events in the evening especially in the month of August. University spends a lot on these kinds of events. Join a Student Organisation. It's about exposing yourself to something new every time and meeting new people you have an opportunity for. There are endless options to choose and whenever in a fix, go with the NSS or NCC for some community service.
