Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering are two different fields of study at the Manipal Institute of Technology. Aerospace Engineering covers aeronautical and astronautical aspects, while Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest branches of Engineering that deals with machines and devices. MIT is a good college when it comes to placements for Mechanical Engineering students. Approximately 70-80% of students normally get placed with an average salary package. On the other hand, when it comes to Aerospace Engineering, only 50-60% of the students got placed. The fee structure for BTech in both the sub-streams remains the same

a year agoMechanical engineering course aims to prepare students to apply the laws and principles of Science and mathematics to analyse, maintain and design and manufacture mechanical systems. The B.Tech programme in Aeronautical engineering deals with the design, construction, maintenance, safety and study of Science behind various aircrafts and their components. Both the programme at Manipal are teachers with the latest pattern, methodology and exposure.
