How does one apply for a articleship? Is it through ICAI or do I have to find the vacancies on my own?

    Dear student,
    For an internship, students need to apply on their own. For that, I suggest you to check for vacancy posts on LinkedIn and website of firms. Also, check the notice board of the institute as firms also post for vacancy there too.

    I am assuming you're asking about a principal under whom you can do your Articleship. If yes, then you have to search for vacancies in different firms yourself. ICAI also puts up the names of firms which require articles on notice boards so you can look up there too. Also check out the various CA networking sites for Articleship openings like chartered club etc. Articleship during the course of CA is extremely important as it forms the backbone of your career. A qualified CA without proper Articleship is not capable of handling the practical situations which will come forward as she/he has not gone through the experiences. CA student w

    Articleship during the course of CA is extremely important as it forms the backbone of your career. A qualified CA without proper articleship is not capable of handling the practical situations which will come as she/he has not gone through the experiences.
    How to register for CA Articleship. Here are the steps:-
    First of all, a CA student who intends to undergo articleship training shall first find a CA firm which has a vacancy for article trainees. Purchase of registration forms i.e. form no.103 and form no.102 from ICAI.
