Yes, It depends on your answers or Reasons for the gap year. If you explain your reasons in better way then it does not affect on your job opportunity and get a better placements on best packages in top rated companies like as google, microsoft, hp, apple etc.

Therefore, it is becoming difficult to get break in IT or ITES industry for freshers if you have not picked up job in campus placement.
