How does the NIOS aspirant get confirmation of admission?

    There are two main ways a NIOS aspirant gets confirmation of admission:

    1. NIOS will send you an online Identity Card (ID Card) once your application and admission are confirmed. This ID card will have all your admission particulars as recorded in the NIOS system.
    2. In some cases, NIOS might also send a separate confirmation letter along with the ID card.This letter will reiterate your admission details and may include additional information like exam registration procedures.

    Admission to a particular NIOS course is usually confirmed by NIOS by issuing an Identity Card. This ID card will have the admission particulars as per the records available with NIOS. On confirmation of admission, Enrolment Number is also informed to the learner. Students are advised to keep the ID card safe. They will need enrolment number to check NIOS result.
