Few students from CSE and IT branches had limited placements last year.<br /><br />Here are some key findings:<br /><br />* <b>Limited Placements</b>: Only a handful of students get placed annually, mainly in coaching institutions like Allen, Vibrant, and Career Point as faculty.<br />* <b>Low Salary Packages</b>: Average salary packages offered are around INR2-3 Lacs per annum.<br />* <b>No Industry Exposure</b>: The college does not provide industrial visits or projects, making students less industry-ready.<br />* <b>GATE Exam Focus</b>: Most students focus on clearing the GATE exam to secure PSUs or IITs/NITs for further studies.<br />* <b>Internships Mandatory</b>: Third-year students are required to participate in internships, which often lead to full-time employment offers.<br />* <b>Placement Cell Issues</b>: There is a lack of cooperation from faculty members, and the placement cell seems to be ineffective in securing job offers for students.<br /><br />These challenges emphasize the importance of self-preparation and exploring alternative options for students seeking career advancement.
