The Savitri Jindal Merit Cum Means Fellowship is meant to assist the bright female students that may have financial problems in the course of an M.A. (DLB) course. Through this fellowship, half of the awardees are offered a 30% cut in tuition fees and this to a large extent increases access to quality education among these deserving students. It is also encouraging to observe that at least 40 percent of the entire programme intake is specifically allocated to Savitri Jindal (SJ) Scholarships and so, there is a significant number of students that can enjoy the benefits of the fellowship through this programme.
