How early should I start preparing for JEE? Should one start as early as class 8th or 9th? Is this a good idea?

    I come across this questions many times. Many people seem to believe that more the time, more the practice, and more the chances of being a topper in JEE. However, this is not true. There are a number of factors that govern how early one should start one's preparation- attention span, learning caliber, stress taking ability etc. Let's talk about this in detail.

    It is a better idea if you start your JEE preparations from the class 8th or 9th because there are many subjects and competitive olympiads and exams being conducted class 7th onwards in which you can participate and learn a lot of things. Also, you can enter the group of an elite category of students which are hired by various coaching institutes and provided with the high-class preparation methods for JEE Mains for free. Though you have to study a lot in the time where no one can realise the actual study pattern of competitions which would be hard for you if you can face this you, will definitely raise your chances for Advanced.     For starting the preparation for IIT from 10th class, its better to join a good coaching institute.
    Because joining coaching institutes helps you in sharpening your mind.
    When we have private tutions, we are brushed with those parts of the subjects which our subject teacher does not touch only because they are not mentioned in the text books. So, when we go with private tutions under a quality tutor, they will provide us with some outside examples and for that we will have clear knowledge of things.
    You don't need preparation from class 9th and class 8th, just believe in yourself and get in synchronisation with coaching classes pace.
