How easy is it to qualify for a scholarship to study MBA in a B-School abroad?

Hi. If qualifying for a scholarship to study abroad was so easy, candidate would have been offered a scholarship every second. Banks would not be giving education loans to students requiring the finance to study in a B-School abroad. Firstly, for getting a scholarship, all you need to know is what it takes to get into a (top) B-School: Extensive work experience, high GMAT, extracurricular activities, outstanding recommendation letters and excellent MBA career goals essay. All these sum up to a good application package. If your profile consist of these factors in a good way, chances of getting admission and a scholarship becomes higher. Many universities evaluate a profile holistically therefore, if there is at least one factor which could be your strength, you need to showcase it. Secondly, it is most important to follow the timelines, applying early is an advantage when it comes to a positive admission decision and scholarship. You should apply way before the deadlines and before the university is exhausted of its funds. USA, of all countries is regarded as the most generous when it comes to extending financial help. Not only the top tiers, but tier 2-3 universities are also seen giving away scholarships to the top applicants. Also, there are many Scholarship opportunities by country’s specific governments such as Erasmus Mundus, Campus France, and Commonwealth Scholarships etc. Rest is up to the university, whom they'd find deserving.
