How expensive is it to live at Birmingham University?

<p>It highly depends on the individual. Usually, it takes around 80&ndash;90 GBP per month for basic groceries and mobile bills.</p><p>Usually, for travel, there is an option for issuing a student pass, which costs around 47 GBP per month and has the benefit for unlimited travel throughout the city (carrying student ID issued from the university is a must while travelling).</p><p>Student accommodations range from 145 GBP/week for en-suit rooms and can go up to more than 300 GBP/week for a studio room. These accommodations come with charges that include the monthly utility bills (check before booking the accommodation; a few accommodations come without utility bills).</p><p>Eating at restaurants increases expenses abruptly, as any standard meal will cost above 9 GBP per dish. Its better to opt for home cooking.</p><p>The rest of the expenses depend on how you want to live.</p>
