In contrast to non-citizens who must apply for the grant and promise to work in Singapore for three years after graduation, Singaporeans are automatically granted a tuition grant with no bond requirement.
Living expenditures: Depending on lifestyle and programme of study, a foreign student in Singapore pays monthly living expenditures ranging from SGD $1,500 to SGD $3,300. Around SGD $4,220 is spent on living expenses per year at the university.
