How far are PG accommodations from LPU, and what is the cost of staying in a PG?

I would suggest you to stay in the hostel inside LPU campus. The privately owned rooms (PG) shared accommodation, which apart from its safety concerns are also prone to temptation of many social evils, which at the young age appears to be very attractive but create harmful effects on the students in the long term. There may be a wrong belief that PG living as compared to residential accommodation living is cheaper, but when all costs are taken into detailed consideration, then it appears that PG living in fact is more costlier and time consuming to commute up and down. LPU's residential facilities are indeed exceptionally well organised and maintained. The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. When it comes to Home like Healthy stay LPUs residential Facilities are excellent in all terms. LPU residential facilities are considered one the largest in India. There are 17 multi storeyed Hostels with different types of rooms like dormitory, two seater, single seater, AC, non AC, etc. Available in the hostels and the fee vary accordingly. While staying inside campus you will have 24X7 access to the library, indoor sports and gym facilities. Residential facility at campus is much safer and secure as 24 X 7 X 365 security is available and CCTVs are installed at all prominent locations throughout the campus. Security is in the hands of experienced security staff. Manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. Turnstile Gates: The entry to residential facilities are regulated through automated turnstile (as in metro railway) and biometric machines and data is saved in computerized data base to track the movement of students/ visitors. LPU has zero tolerance to Ragging, Alcohol, smoking, drug and disciplinary misconduct.

There are many PG accommodations near LPU; however, I would suggest that staying in the LPU hostel is beneficial. First of all, the LPU campus is a mini-city in itself. There is an electricity backup and a water supply. In addition to it, there is staff assistance and medical service (medicines and tests on payment). Study Room, TV Room, Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System, Purified Water Facility, Maintenance Services, Wi-Fi Service, Free Electricity Units (As Applicable) There is a 24-hour electricity backup, water supply, and services available. There are mess services, laundry services, dedicated parking, a department store, a cafeteria, a saloon for boys, printing and copier machines, shops in all hostels, guest rooms, a car wash facility, a shopping mall, and tuck shops. You name it, and you have it. Food: From ala carte to regional mess, the LPU hostel has it all. It has North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthan, and many other regional messes. A student can choose the food as per his or her taste. The quality of the food is good. Parathas, butter, curd, milk, and tea are served at breakfast. At lunch, dry vegetables, dal, any gravy item, rice, chapati, and raita are served. For dinner, chapati, seasonal vegetables, rice, and desserts are served. Rooms: LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 seats, including AC and non-AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week. The room has an air conditioner, an attached washroom, and a geyser. Wooden box B. Ed Study Table, Chair, and Almirah Students have to seek permission to use electrical gadgets with a maximum load of up to 5 amperes per apartment. One- and two-bedroom apartments have an attached lobby and kitchenette. Safety: The security of the students is not compromised inside the residential facilities of LPU. The hostels are state of the art. A huge army of security personnel has been deployed all over the campus to keep a round-the-clock vigil. The campus is ragging-free, drug-free, and tobacco-free. If someone has a problem in connection with the residential facilities room, they can complain. The hostel management looks into the matter and resolves it as soon as possible.
