How good is AMU for economics hons? Which is better AMU or Jamia Millia Islamia?

Asked about Centre for Distance and Online Education, Aligarh Muslim University - B.A. in Economics (Online)

I have been selected for both AMU and Jamia, but I can't decide which is better.

    Hello Rimsha,
    Both these institutions are quite reverse in academic fraternity. However AMU is more conservative & politicised. On the other hand, Jamia being in Delhi is more liberated but at the same time having a good atmosphere.

    AMU is more conservative & politicised. On the other hand, Jamia being in Delhi is more liberated but at the same time having a good atmosphere.

    Both the universities have a very dedicated and amazing department when it comes to a subject like economics. Why I suggest Jamia over AMU is because of its location which is New Delhi where you also have options to work or intern outside to gain a better knowledge of your course. Unfortunately, Aligarh doesn't have many options like this. So, a big yes for Jamia.

    Both are almost equal, AMU rank 11 and JMI rank 12, but in Delhi, the opportunities are more.
