thapar university patiala is one of the most reputed universities in punjab. they have very good faculty. regarding required rank in aieee you should wait, because it depends what is the highest merit in aieee.

well thapar university is good but cannot compete with colleges like nsit,dce,mait ip university .

Offcourse DCE Delhi is well reputed. Thapar University is good.
