How hard is getting admission into Abhinav Education Society's College of Law?

<p>Getting admission into Abhinav Education Society's College of Law is not very rigorous, mainly because of their eligibility criteria. For this LL.B. programme candidates require a minimum of 45% marks in their graduation where the threshold for reserved categories is still lower (40% by SC/ST and 42% by OBC belonging to Maharashtra). The college offers seats to 60 students and admission is granted based upon scores obtained through MH CET Law entrance exam. Because competition does exist, especially in popular courses, the entrance criteria are intended to allow for as many applicants as possible, thus making it achievable for many aspiring law students.</p>

<p>Admission in Abhinav Education Society's College of Law (AESCL) is somewhat competitive, yet not too tough as that in the top law colleges in India. The admission is primarily conducted through MH CET Law examination which is the common entrance examination for law courses in Maharastra. The cut-off ranks for AESCL vary yearly, depending on various parameters such as applicant count and exam difficulties. The cut-off is not too high but one must still perform well in the test because lines do differ from year to year for rank admission.</p><p>For example, last year the cut-off in the case of a 5-year integrated LLB programme was around 6573 for candidates of the Maharashtra State. Therefore, in this case, those students who secured well in MH CET Law maybe have an easier admission to that program, while the rest would generally have to lean on their merit for a seat.</p><p>Not the most competitive law college, and yet, it gives some good option to a student who is serious enough and has managed to make the cutoff.</p>
