    Admission to Canara Engineering College in Mangalore is based on entrance exam scores and academic performance: 

    Eligibility

    Applicants must have at least 45% in Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognised board. For the B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering program, applicants must also have passed Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in 2nd PUC or 12th Std. 

    Entrance exams

    The college accepts scores from various entrance exams for admission to BTech courses.

    Applicants must submit the following documents for admission:

    Admission to Canara Engineering College (CEC) is based on the performance in the entrance exam and the branch chosen. The competition for KCET is moderate, and getting a seat in popular branches like Computer Science or Electronics is not easy, and it requires a good rank. COMEDK has a similar level of competition, and higher-ranked candidates get seats in top branches. The process for direct management quota admissions is less competitive; however, the entry procedure is more basic when considering the minimum eligibility criterion of the students.
