How hard is getting admission into College of Engineering and Rural Technology?

<p>Admission to the College of Engineering and Rural Technology (CERT), Meerut is moderately competitive, depending upon the course and the number of applicants. For B.Tech programs, admission primarily depends on the JEE Main or UPTAC scores; candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by the college. The cutoffs for popular branches like Computer Science and Electronics are usually higher, reflecting the level of competition. Additionally, direct admission can be made for students who, though not having cleared entrance exams, are academically qualified. Though it's not as competitive as the premier institutes, students have to do well in their entrance exams and be well-equipped with all academic backgrounds to get admitted into this institute.</p>

Selection in this college is strictly based on merit as applicants qualify for the criteria set for eligibility. The better the academic background and entrance exam score, the more likely the chances of admission into college. Overall, this process of admission is not very tough.</p>
