The situation at Government Engineering College, Bhuj is fairly competitive in getting in. It mainly uses the GUJCET or JEE Main scores. Although it needs a good rank (e.g. GUJCET ranks 30,000s in major streams, JEE Main 90,000s), it is not as competitive as the top-national institutes. It is a government college, which is affordable hence there is decent competition, and the fact that it does well in the entrance tests means that it is the education that one can certainly aim to acquire.

GEC Bhuj has its major admission process via a centralized counselling held by ACPC Gujarat. You should have completed 10+2 ( PCM ) and attained a valid score in GUJCET or JEE Main. The process includes online registration, payment of fee and uploading of documents on the ACPC site. Once merit list comes out, you shall complete your college/ branch choices, wait to see if you get the seats, and complete your admission by making the fees payment and reporting to the college.
