Getting into Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering is relatively tough as around 5000-6000 students seek admission to about 600 seats every year. The institute has a cut off in the range of around 80-90 percentile in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. Students should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. About 20-25% of students are selected from the management quota, whereas 75-80% get selected from the MHT-CET or JEE Main. The whole admission process normally begins in June and ends by August every year.

Entry to Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering is notch competitive. Candidates should qualify either JEE MAIN or State MHT-CET cut-offs (varying every year according to the performance of candidates and seats available). Most of the people with score above minimum cut off (50% in relevant subjects) can be secured admission. The college does have many engineering programs but the available and mostly good demand as well as rank correlates to how easy or hard the admissions are for associate level students as this can be easy but you do need good exam preparation to get in.

The semester exam results are usually declared in May/June and Nov/Dec at Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering. The college only offers the B.Tech program to students. Examination results can get delayed sometimes, as seen in student reviews, which is not that big of a deal. Students at the college seem to be happy with the education they are getting.
