<p>Getting admission into Newton's Institute of Engineering (NIE) Guntur can be moderately competitive, especially for the popular B.E. / B.Tech courses. Admission will be on the basis of Andhra Pradesh EAMCET test, and a candidate needs to gain minimum eligibility criteria based upon securing a good score in the entrance test. Admission is relatively competitive and varies with the number of applicants, the branch of engineering, and cutoff scores for that year. For a given rank, it is highly probable that a student of higher rank will have an admission. Management quota admissions are also accepted from eligible students.</p>
