    Getting admission into PCMT is relatively moderate in terms of difficulty. Getting a B.E. or B.Tech involves passing the WBJEE from West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or JEE Main score for particular categories. If one acquires an acceptable rank in these entrance exams, then there would be an increased probability to get a seat.

    Admission to Pailan College of Management and Technology (PCMT) in Kolkata, India is based on a candidate's academic record and other eligibility requirements: 

    B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering

    Candidates must have at least 45% in 12th. 

    Diploma in Engineering/Technology

    Candidates must have at least 45% marks in the Diploma, or 40% for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD. 

    B.Sc.

    Candidates must have at least 45% marks in the B.Sc., or 40% for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD. There is an upper age limit of 27 years for B.Sc. candidates.

    PCMT is a private, unaided college that offers a variety of academic courses. Admission is merit-based for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. 

    Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree with (10+2+3) or (10+2+4) in any discipline from any University recognised by AICTE or UGC. Final year undergraduate students can also apply. The candidates should qualify MAT/JEMAT.
