The selection for B.E./B.Tech is mainly done on the basis of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MHT CET or JEE Main. A better score gets a better chance, especially for Computer Science and IT. A good academic record along with participation in centralized counselling are also important factors. The GATE score is a valid requirement for admission into the M.Tech course. Of course, if one talks about competitiveness, then certainly, competition levels here at RGIT are far less compared to institutes like IITs. But still, it is a very good institute and certainly requires a good entrance exam score along with a good academic record to get admitted here.</p>
