How hard is getting admission into Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology (SCET)?

<p>RCET is usually known to be a good college in Kerala. Decent infrastructure, faculty with sufficient experience, and practical learning orientation, are some of the merits that can be noticed from RCET. But quality-wise education and placement differ among various departments and batches.</p>

<p>Admission to Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) in Thrissur, Kerala is based on both entrance exams and merit:&nbsp;</p><p>Entrance exams</p><p>Candidates must pass the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM) with a minimum of 10 marks in both Paper I and Paper II.&nbsp;</p><p>Merit</p><p>Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or equivalent with at least 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. The college also considers the marks obtained in Computer Science, Biotechnology, or Biology if Chemistry is not a subject studied.&nbsp;</p><p>Reservations</p><p>The college reserves 50% of seats for management, 15% for NRI, and community quota seats are allotted on merit.&nbsp;</p>
