How hard is it to get a job in archaeology?

Getting a job in the archaeology field is comparably more challenging than other popular degrees like B.Tech, B.Sc. And B.Com. This is due to the following reasons: 1. There are very few job opportunities in India for the archaeology profession. 2. This field requires more research and experience than others. 3. It is a comparably less lucrative field than other job opportunities. 4. You may have to travel a lot for excavations, which makes it a challenging field. 5. There are very few private jobs available; therefore, most candidates compete for government jobs. However, with sufficient experience and research work, you can establish a good career in archaeology as an archaeologist, museum officer, lecturer, and documentation specialist.
