How hard is it to pursue B.Tech. at Siliguri Institute of Technology?

<p>The Siliguri Institute of Technology (SIT) could have relatively challenging campus life, as entry into SIT is a fairly competitive process, which includes the entrance exams WBJEE or JEE Main involving cutoffs from 60% to 70% for the general category. Eligibility also requires 45% in 10+2 along with physics and mathematics as mandatory subjects. It's an industry-oriented course, so faculties are quite experienced. Even though the academic environment at the university is demanding, the students must be prepared for the academic pressures and rigorous course work and active participation in projects and co-curricular activities.</p>
