How have the Tier-1 colleges benefited from their alumni community?

Students, past and present, are what any institute is all about. Faculty and staff are essential as well, but students are different in that they will forever fill a role whether they are present students or long graduated alumni. They create the university's status, which relies in large part on how successful alumni are in the real world. New graduates will have better job prospects because they went to a well-known school, and the process will continue. This is the basic benefit the newcomers and the college get. Also, such alumni communities donate willingly to their alma mater. Be it anything books, money or just precious knowledge. During the college selection process, give careful consideration to the strength of an alumni network in your future career field and geographic region. No matter where you attend school, connecting with alumni in your area of career is a stable investment of your time and energy that can pay back dividends upon your graduation.

Students who get benefited from their Alumni tend to give back more their Alma mater. This creates a strong and vibrant alumni network spread across the generations. Schools and colleges with strong alumni networks create credibility and a strong branding for the institution.

TIER-1 campuses will have very good infrastructure, excellent faculties, excellent training, hospitality etc. These campuses will be having a strong alumni network as well. The campus will invite to class multinational companies to make a relationship with them. This always benefits the campus as well as the students who are studying over there. Tier -1 campus after making a strong relationship with the Multinational companies will try to give their students training sessions with the support of those companies. Finally, the company will give placements to top performing students. This has been practiced each and every year. As a result, the passing out batch will get enough placement from top class companies and also, it will benefit the upcoming batches as well. Strong relations with passed out alumnis always open door for a placement in the same company.
