Hi, The subordinate Police Service of Delhi State consists of the following ranks:- Police Inspector Sub-Inspector of Police Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Head Constable Police Constable The method of appointment to the post of Sub-Inspector of Police is as under :- Sixty percent by direct recruitment, (Civil) &amp; (Armed) Thirty percent by promotion on the basis of seniority- cum- merit from the cadres of Asst.
