How important is a college degree in this era?

This era is defining time in the history of mankind! Education was, is and will remain the most important factor in the survival of people. The world economy is in expansion barring some aberrations, the need of new talent, new skills, new workers is more than ever. Since humans are innovating more and more, the importance of higher education is increasing. So yes, a college degree is very important in this extremely competitive era. A degree from a college/ university of high repute ensures that you get the skills which are required in your jobs/work/business. Also ensures that the initial recruitment happens from the campus itself. But there are few requisites in yourself and your college to make full use of the opportunity. Whichever degree you choose, it is according to your interests, aptitude, hobbies and aspirations. Whichever college/university you choose, it must have the curriculum, teaching pedagogy and practical exposure so that its easier for you to start your career. Some good colleges/universities in India are: IITs, IIMs, NITs, BITs, JNU, PU, DU, Symbiosis, SRM and LPU. So, choose wisely.

A degree enables you to qualify for these additional opportunities and offers you more flexibility in where you choose to work. College is important for many reasons, including long-term financial gain, job stability, career satisfaction and success outside of the workplace. With more and more occupations requiring advanced education, a college degree is critical to your success in today's workforce. With this you also need to make sure you choose a right College, choose a university or college that offers complete development, best infrastructure, experienced and qualified faculty members, well-equipped labs, placement and internship assistance and lot more. I have done my Engineering and MBA from Lovely Professional University so I can confidently say LPU is one of the best option to pursue your degree.
