How important is Finance Back ground for a person to join CFA and please help me knowing how good CFA is in terms of getting a Job?

I am doing BBA through Distance and had an educational gap of almost 3 years after 12th. Adding to that i dont have any prior knowledge about finance and acounting (im purely zero at those) Would this be ok to proceed with CFA or is that a bad idea ? Please suggest.

Yes it is a bad idea to think of CFA without having background and credible degree behind you. Even if you try, chances of your success are very slim.
