Work exp will give you an extra edge in GDPI however there is no weightage officially for the same but yes it gives you an advantage over others in GDPI as well as in placements -
SIBM,pune does not consider profile score or work experience for admission criteria. So, It doesn't matter if you are fresher or working professional, you are still eligible for admission.
