How is a B.Sc programme different from a B.Des programme? Is there any impact on the placements or learning rigor?

    Basically the course curriculum of both the courses are same. However, B.Design is more of a practical knowledge based programme that molds you practically for the fashion designing industry while B.Sc in Fashion Designing is more about academic part of Fashion designing. The learning criteria only differs in the nature of the course. But yes, the degrees do impact the placements. If you are a B.des graduate, you will find employment opportunities in various fashion houses, garment export companies, textile and leather industry. B.Des course also makes you so competent enough to open your own fashion house to exhibit your fashion skill
