How is aerospace faculty at LPU?

The course for Aerospace Engineering has been designed for learners who intend to design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites and missiles. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. These professionals also design components and sub-assemblies for these craft like engines, air-frames, wings. The course equips a student to be able to effectively build and communicate the solutions crafted using learnings from basic aerospace engineering, basic sciences, mathematics and computational skills and tools. LPU has around 2000 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialized and well qualified faculty members.Lovely Professional University is possessing around 2000 experienced & well-qualified faculty members in the university. 2) In most of the cases faculty members were not only the alumni of premier Institutes of India like IITs, NITs, IIITs, IIMS etc. but also done their studies from premier institutes of International Universities. 3) Almost all of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and even most of them also done their post doctorate from International Universities. 4) Faculties do possess an average of 7 Years of Experience in Teaching & Industry. 5) They do guide the students not only in theoretical domain but also in practical aspects with the cutting edge modern laboratories available in LPU.

Aerospace engineering is the major field of engineering that deals with the development of air and spacecraft. It has two main overlapping branches: aeronautical engineering and space engineering. Aerospace is one of several specialties studied at LPU. Aerospace Engineering Highlights/Achievements at LPU: Students are very active in automotive research and activities under the guidance of the department and the university. Lovely Professional University has around 2000 professors at the university. The university has experienced, specialized and well-qualified professors. Some of the faculty members are from the IIT, NIT, IIIT, IIM etc. The student has a car club under the Automobile Society of India under which the teams have participated in various competitions by entering their vehicle in Supra SAE (Student Formula CAR), Baja SAE India, BAJA SAE USA, Efficycle (LPU) of SAE organized Efficycle event in October 2015 Organized the International Go Kart Championship, an automotive event initiated by students, the first international event of its kind, participating from all over ASIA. The Mechanical Engineering Department has highly experienced and skilled staff conducting research in areas such as CAD/CAM, Mechanical Design, Thermal Engineering, Fluid Dynamics, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling Design and Flexible Manufacturing Systems/Automation. The department is credited with over 48 research publications in international and national journals, including the prestigious ASME Transactions, International Conference and National Conference.
