How is AIR calculated? Is it calculated using both class 12th percentage and JEE Advanced marks?

    AIR is calculated only on the basis of JEE Advanced marks. In case of same scores various tie breakers are used. But to get a rank in JEE Advanced, you must pass the cut-off of class 12 and atleast 75%. it is also important to pass the subject wise cut-off in JEE Advanced along with total cut-off to get a rank in JEE Advanced.

    No, marks of board exams does not decide the rank but it is compulsory to get at least 75% in board to appear for JEE Advanced exam.
