The feud only lasts for a short period of time even if it takes place. You should just witness it if you like drama, but do not involve yourself to a level where unavoidable situations happen. Apart from that, your academic part does not get any problem. You can carry with your studies while this drama goes on. Your data will be saved so you do not lose anything.
