How is Ashoka University compared to Delhi University?

Ashoka is a liberal arts university. DU offers courses in all streams. There are certain points to consider. If you are getting Tier1 colleges like LSR, Stephen's or Hindu etc. Then skip Ashoka. If not, then for subjects like History, English Sociology, Psychology or Political Science, Ashoka is a good choice. But if your ultimate goal is to prepare for civil services then DU will be better. Ashoka follows the educational pedagogy of the West. If you want it, you better go for it. If you are tired of rote learning. Or you want a change of air. But also consider the fees. Since Ashoka is too new to be trusted, it is not very wise to pay that much for her. DU is affordable. Also note that the NIRF rankings of both universities are University of Delhi is ranked 13 And Ashoka University is ranked 88 University of Delhi is government university but Ashoka university is private University.
