As per the best of my knowledge, B.Arch is a good choice to do at LPU. My friend's sister is pursuing the B.Arch at LPU. The Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) for B.Arch is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English and also 60% marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics or Pass with 60% in Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognised by Central/ State government. (with Mathematics) or equivalent, subject to qualifying marks in NATA 2021 or JEE Main (Paper-II) (90 percentile or above) or qualifying marks in any specially designed aptitude test in Architecture conducted by the competent authority of the Central/ State Governments (as/ if allowed by the statutory body for 2021-22). B.Arch is a 5-year course that students divided into 10 semesters. This course ISC O. A approved professional degree. In this students get the information about Design Thinking and development, skill development, engineering knowledge, and individual and teamwork. ELIGIBILITY: Candidates should be passed with 50% in Diploma (any stream) (3 years) by the Central or State government. The Architecture Programmes at LPU are approved by the Council of Architecture (COA), a statutory body of the Government of India for the regulation of the architectural education and practice of profession as required. There is a different school for B.Arch I. e. School of Architecture that provides different programme outcomes from basic to advanced one. The School inculcates practical implications and goes beyond conceptual understanding. The programme is structured in five groups taking care of every dimension of the growing and ever-changing design industry viz. Core Courses, Supporting Courses, Skill Development Courses, Management Courses, Elective Courses. The curriculum is benchmarked against the most renowned institutions of the world and is further strengthened through live design projects which help thorough assimilation of theoretical concepts. The focus is on application-oriented teaching with live architecture design projects, extensive models,s and fieldwork. LPU believes in providing real-life exposure instead of just book knowledge. Students are exposed to real site situations through in-house and external visits for visual orientation. Emphasis is given to the Entrepreneurship projects/Consultancy projects which give a cutting edge to the students of the University. The Faculty deputed to teach the students is very supportive and takes initiative to involve the students in projects for maximum exposure. Based on my own experience, LPU's B.Arch programme is a good fit. The faculty has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Innovative teaching methods are used throughout the programme. Students are brought to adjacent historic and building sites and given live case studies to complete during Experiential Learning Week, which is held every semester.
