Product designing as a career is really good, as in India itself there're many companies for making consumable goods and services which need redesigning after a period of timing. In India there're many upcoming and new product companies that require good product designers for their sustainability in the market. There are many good universities that provide B. Des in fashion, Interior, and Product design, and more. To name a few:

It's a very good course. National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, the premier design Institute of India and amongst top 35 design schools in the world, it offers B.Des./M.Des. degrees in 20 different streams. Kindly, visit www.nid.edu for detailed information about those streams. There are other govt. and private institutes too, but no other institute offers degrees in variety of streams. So, if you are really interested in creative field, go for it. You will make a good career as well as good money.
