How is B.Planning programme at LPU?

LPU provides a professional degree imparting the knowledge, skills and techniques required by professional planners for preparing various spatial and sectoral plans and strategies for urban and rural settlements. This is the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent. LPU's Bachelor of Planning programme is a four-year undergraduate programme that focuses on the planning and design of urban and rural environments. The programme provides students with knowledge and skills in areas such as urban design, urban planning, transportation planning, environmental planning, etc. The curriculum of the programme is designed to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The programme includes classroom lectures, field visits, case studies, workshops, and internships, which help students gain hands-on experience and exposure to the real-world scenarios. These are Student Achievements: Students of 1st year have published a Book titled "Urban Planning: A Literature Review" as a part of their curriculum. Students of successfully submitted the reports of the City Sanitation Plan, City Mobility Plan and Development Plan, Leh (Ladakh) to Ladakh Ecological Development Group (LEDeG) as part of the MOU.
