    Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Horticulture is subdivision of agriculture which deals with gardening of plants. Agriculture deals with cultivation of crops and also animal farming whereas Horticulture deals with cultivation only. Both B.Sc. Agriculture and B.Sc. Horticulture are Science degrees; however, they differ significantly. B.Sc. Agriculture includes four years of research and practical training in agricultural Science. At the same time, a B.Sc.     B.Sc in Horticulture is a 3 years full time under graduate course which is divided into 6 semesters. Horticulture is the branch of Agricultural Science that deals with the cultivation of vegetables, plants, flowers, herbs, fruits, shrubs, bushes, gardens, and landscaping for gardens, ornamental trees, maintaining nurseries, green houses, orchards and plantations and also floriculture or cultivation of flowers.     1) Horticulture is fruit crops, olericulture, floriculture and land scaping and post harvest technology (a branch of agriculture).2) 'Agriculture' includes plant agriculture (horticulture and field crops) and animal agriculture.
