The only criteria being the fact that you should not be having any arrear with having cgpa mora than what the company's minimum cgpa laid by them.
It all accounts to one thing, dont expect an average placement of more than 3.5-4 lakhs.
There were some of the companies that visited campus during the year 2017.

    Eligibility criteria:
If you are having even one arrear, then you are not eligible to participate in any company's placement procedure. Criteria go like this, one should have 60%+ in 10th,12th and above 6 CGPA till 6th semester.
All the core companies keep two criteria:
    (a) Either you should have 80% in 10th,12th and 8+ CGPA,
    (b) Or you should be in top 20% of the eligible students I.e. in top 40. students of the department which means that you need to have a CGPA of 8.75 something or above.
    3. Stats:
Near 30-40 students got offers of near 4.5 LPA.Near 10 may be in 5-6 LPA category. All else are placed in 3 companies- Cognizant, Infosys or Wi

    Hello,
Let's talk about the University first, SRM is one of the best private universities in India from which you can pursue B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering.Placements are pretty decent in SRM, with majority of the students getting into TCS/WIPRO/CTS/ACCENTURE/INFOSYS. There are around 200 students only getting into much better companies with better packages. In Computer Science Engineering ,there were near 350 students in total. But,only 210-220 were allowed to sit. If you maintain cgpa 7+ and dont have any current arrears at the time of placements and good in aptitude to clear company exam then you will surely be placed. The
