How is BFA animation in LPA?

Dear Pranay, I don't know about LPA, you must have been asking about the BFA animation in LPU. So, being alumni of LPU, I am sharing the details of this programme at LPU with you. There is separate Department Called Multimedia which comes under the school of design III. This Department has well-equipped labs with high-end workstations and it has gaming studios also where students can play and test the games on play station, PC and Xbox platforms. Multimedia students of LPU have campus placements in companies like Amazon ( as 3d Artist), Rockstar Games, Kony India, Xentrix studio, Dq entertainment, Prime focus, Green gold animation and so on with maximum packages of 8 Lacs per annum and average packages are 5 Lacs per annum. After b. design in multimedia and graphics and even Masters degrees also. Faculty members are well experienced and specialised and everyone from the industry having More than 8 to 10 years of experience in their respective field. Everyone is so helpful and good mentors. The reality is LPU always gives a platform of placement to students even they give soft skills and personality development classes also so students of creative field also do well in presentations of their work and designs. <p>Lovely Professional University (LPU) has a 4year Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) programme with multiple specializations, including Painting, Applied Art, Photography, Sculpture, and Printmaking. The BFA programme is comprised of intensive studio and outdoor study while practicing manual and digital techniques. In a recent review of the student experience, students stated the faculty are qualified, however some had strong opinions regarding teaching quantity of poorly taught classes, and the challenge related to the instructor's language barriers. Students reported the infrastructure is acceptable as there are classrooms, labs and libraries. However some students mention they wish some of the resources and hostel facilities improved. For placement opportunities both prospects and potential employers seemed limited, with the only professional exposure was possible through internships. In terms of placement companies mentioned in the researches reviews were modest with few companies appearing to use direct recruitment from the Fine Arts department. Overall, the BFA at LPU offered a satisfactory academic foundation and practical training; however it is expected additional skills would be needed as students would need to build skills outside of the programme and expand their networking through action if they were looking for acceptable job placements in animation or fine arts.</p>

<p>BFA Animation in LPU is an excellent option for students who are interested in creativity, drawing, and animation. The university offers a good course where we are able to learn both the technical and artistic aspects of animation. From simple sketching to complicated 2D and 3D animation, everything is taught step by step. The labs are equipped with the most advanced software and tools that assist in creating professional-level projects. The faculty members are encouraging and industry-oriented, so they not only guide us academically but also in establishing a good portfolio. LPU also provides ample opportunities through workshops, guest lectures from industry professionals, and live projects. There are also competition and exhibition opportunities for students to exhibit their work. The campus atmosphere is highly encouraging, and we can also interact with other creative students on campus. Placements and internships within the industry of animation are also great here, with links to media companies and studios. Overall, if anyone actually wants to develop in animation with proper infrastructure and exposure, LPU is an excellent option to study BFA Animation.</p>

LPU has B design and B.Sc. Degree in animation (multimedia). My Cousin's brother completed his B. Design degree from Lovely Professional University. He is placed in Rockstar games now as Lead Facial Animator. He worked in Red Dead redemption 2 and now working in GTAVI. As his feedback, I would like to recommend that LPU is one of the best places in India for Multimedia, Graphics, and Gaming. The faculty members are from the industry like red chilies Studios, Prime focus studios and they have experience of more than 15 years. The multimedia department has a separate block and has well-equipped labs with dell workstations to handle high-end software like adobe after effects, Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Nuke, Fusion, Z brush, photoshop, etc. Even the department has good quality of resources like Black magic cinemas cameras, canon cameras, trolly, jib, and well-equipped special VFX studio with permanent Chroma backgrounds. Placements are also great. This year also my friends and juniors got placed in companies like Amazon, rockstar games, Kony India, Xentrix studios, Lolly POP Design Studio etc. With average packages of 5 Lacs per annum and maximum packages are 8 to 10 Lacs.
