Computer science branch is one of the topmost branch in BITS Pilani, top scorers get this branch. IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Delhi are topmost institution for the same branch. The only difference is fees and location, rest all things are equivalent. One more thing BITS is based on merit in BITS

BITS Pilani is a private institution and IITs are government institutes. But both are equally good in placement records and course curriculum.

Hi Himanshi, It depends upon which IIT are you taking into comparison with BITS Pilani. If you are talking about IIT Delhi, Bombay, Kharagpur they certainly outperform in Research Orientation, but when it comes to flexibility in academics, freedom and great campus life, BITS has its own impact.
