It depends upon which IIT are you taking into comparison with BITS Pilani. If you are talking about IIT Delhi, Bombay, Kharagpur they certainly outperform in Research Orientation, but when it comes to flexibility in academics, freedom and great campus life, BITS has its own impact. Both the institute can provide you excellent placements and academic cognizance. But when it comes to Newer IITs like Ropar, Patna etc., BITS would be a better choice. -

7 years agoBITS Pilani is a private institution and IITs are government institutes. But both are equally good in placement records and course curriculum.
