Telecom is similar to ECE except for few subjects in the higher semesters. The faculty is pretty strict . The dept. focuses more on open ended experiments and mini projects. You have to be regular and sincere to score good marks.Number of companies do visit and recruit students (assured placements) but the pay scale is less initially. there is a better scope if you pursue higher studies abroad or look for a job abroad.
Companies that visit ; National Instruments, Deloitte, Fidelity, Robert Bosch, HP (RND), Accenture, WIPRO, IBM, Thoro good Associates, Fractal Analytics, etc.
