How is CGPA calculated at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University?

For determining a student's total academic performance in undergraduate and graduate degrees, certain universities do not follow the CGPA (cumulative grade point average) method. Instead, they base their final grades on the marks earned by students during each semester. Same with this university. Under this system, a student's marks in each subject are put together to get their overall score for the semester. The final course grades are then determined using the cumulative marks earned in each semester. With the use of this strategy, institutions may assess students according to how they perform over each semester, which can give a more realistic picture of their academic development. Universities must consider both CGPA and mark-based grading systems when designing evaluation methods. But in this university, the mark-based grading system is applied to all the courses.
