CGPA calculated in GNIOT based on course category. If You are enrolled in University programme than the marking category is decided by University, I. e. , what is marking category percentage or CGPA. If the course marking is CGPA than the overall grading points are 10. The grade points are provided out of 10 CGPA based on the TGPA which is calculated on each trimester.

GNIOT college is affiliated with AKTU Lucknow and SSS University, Meerut. The calculation of CGPA in GNIOT college is given below:
90 - 100 marks - 10cgpa
80 - 90 - 9 CGPA
70-80 - 8 CGPA
And so on.
