    Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) follows the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) system to evaluate the academic performance of students. Under this system, each course is assigned a certain number of credits depending on its weightage and duration. At the end of each semester, the grades obtained in each course are converted into grade points on a 10-point scale, as follows:
    Letter Grade | Grade Point
    - | -
    O | 10
    A+ | 9
    A | 8
    B+ | 7
    B | 6
    C | 5
    so on. F | 0
